• Began her television career as a runner at Granada Television and as a researcher for BSkyB
• Was a regular presenter on Top of the Pops from 1996 to 1998
• In 1998, became the first female host to present the flagship BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show alone
• Appeared on the third series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2005; took over from Claudia Winkleman to host the companion show Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two in 2011
• Has presented The Zoe Ball Show on BBC Radio 2 since March 2017
